Trout Unlimited will improve 1000 feet of the Snake River for native Snake River Cutthroat Trout (SRCT) and restore stream, floodplain, and riparian functions by using bioengineering methods to stabilize the banks.  This work will be done on the Wilson to South Park section.  Addressing bank erosion will reduce annual sediment loads and improve water quality. This project will showcase the benefits and effectiveness of bioengineering techniques in a highly visible section of the Snake River.
